What is the difference between the Demo Day at Dexter, and the one in Florence?

The Dexter Demo Day is The Big One! It will be on May 11 at Lowell State Recreation Site. The Florence Demo Day is a smaller version of the main event, and will be on May 4 at Darlings Marina.

Is the event free?

Yes! There is no charge for attending.

I want to paddle a specific boat. Will it be there?

Almost all boats from our brands' lineups will be there. Look on the Brands and Boats tab for a complete list.

Will there be people there to help me?

Yes! OPS staff, brand reps, and volunteers will be on hand to help you get in and out of boats, and choose which ones will be best for you.

Will there be time or boat limits?

Paddle as many boats as you like! However, please keep to 15 minutes max per boat.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, kids are welcome! However, only those 12 years and older can paddle by themselves.

What if it rains?

We will be there rain or shine! Oregonians don't melt when they get wet.

Do I have to buy a boat?

No, of course not! Only if you want to.
